About Us

As per the provisions of Section 19 and 23 of the Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992, a Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) is being maintained by the Council for registration of the Professional/Personnel having RCI approved qualifications in disability rehabilitation and special education. Rehabilitation Professional / Personnel having Council's approved qualification should apply on appropriate form to get themselves registered in the Central Rehabilitation Register. No person, other than the rehabilitation professional / personnel who possess a recognized rehabilitation qualification and is enrolled on the Central Rehabilitation Register shall be entitled to practice as a rehabilitation professional / personnel in any part of India.

Frequently Asked Questions

The process of Pre-registration in the Central Rehabilitation Register (Pre-CRR) has been upgraded on the new portal for better service delivery. You can check your application status and Pre-CRE points on the portal. To access the new portal, you will need to create a Login ID and Password. Please read the guidelines carefully before proceeding.

For Pre registration following scanned copies of original documents in JPG or Pdf format with less than 200KB are required to be uploaded , Recent Passport size colour photograph (only JPG) , Certificate of Authentication with recent passport size colour photograph , 10th or 12th Certificate / Mark sheet (for age proof & name) No need to send the hardcopies of the documents to RCI.

Provisional Online Application ID is received after online application for Pre registration and must be used as reference for any further enquiries related to Pre registration.

Only original documents are to be scanned and attached. No self attested copies required.
